About Us

Birth in Angus is a website dedicated to the promotion of straightforward birth, particularly within the community maternity units at Arbroath and Montrose.

The site is maintained by midwifery team leaders Chris Field (Arbroath) and Phyllis Winters (Montrose), and by Kirstin Hoggins (lay chair of Angus Maternity Services Liaison Committee) and service user representative Avril Nicoll.

The units pay for the web hosting and design costs through fundraising.
