The MUMs Baby Show

Plans for a major Baby Show organised by MUMs (Maternity Users Montrose) are well underway. The group has set up a special Facebook page to keep you updated.
The event is on Sunday 23rd May 2010 from 11am-4pm at the Park Hotel, Montrose. Over 30 exhibitors are promising to cover everything you need for bump and beyond. Those confirmed so far include John Lewis, Babyscanning, Kirstie Abbey Photography, 4Kidz, The Nappy Laundry, Design It, Streets Ahead, Pregnancy Massage, Crafty Cats, Baby Bumblebee Bouquets, Energie Fitness, Harry's Big Sisters, Yogabirthing, Elizabeth Havens, Goody 2 Shooz, Bookstart, Jamkat Jewellery, Stickfingerprints, Barefoot Books, Boots and Angus Activity Toys.
Montrose midwives will also be on hand throughout the day.
The entry of £3 for adults (children are free) includes a raffle ticket. Local businesses have donated generously to the raffle and there are hundreds of pounds worth of prizes to be won.
A spokesperson for the MUMs group said, "The Show has been organised by a small dedicated sub-committee and is set to be a great success. The Park Hotel is generously providing a fantastic venue for the event, which is part of our continued fundraising efforts for Montrose Maternity Unit. We look forward to seeing people there from Aberdeen to Dundee!"
