Arbroath's Wendy gains degree

After 4 long years of part time study, Arbroath Maternity's Wendy Bruce has gained her degree in midwifery.
Wendy says, "As a midwife working in a low risk unit, keeping myself updated is a necessary component of my job. With this in mind, back in 2006 I applied to undertake my first module. If I had realised the time and brain power this required, I may have been less than enthusiastic! However, as I have now completed it, I feel fantastic and very proud of my achievement. Thanks must go to my family and colleagues for putting up with my moaning and groaning - their support was invaluable."
Wendy graduated on Friday 25th June and celebrated her success at the Caird Hall in Dundee with close family and her fiance. A colleage says, "All the staff at Arbroath CMU would like to congratulate Wendy on her success."
