Fond farewell to Montrose midwife

Montrose midwives bid a fond farewell to Clare Winter who has left the unit after an eventful three and a half years, to pursue her career as a full time midwifery lecturer at the University of Dundee.

Clare’s passion and enthusiasm for midwifery has always been evident throughout her time at Montrose and her eccentric approach has been both entertaining and inspiring. In addition, Clare has also used her extensive knowledge and skills to challenge practice at Montrose, often initiating positive changes as a result.

Having expressed a particular interest in the ‘complexity and chaos theory’, we hope that Montrose has provided Clare with copious examples of both! Clare has been a greatly valued member of the Montrose team and her contribution to the unit will be sadly missed.

Everyone at Montrose wishes Clare all the best and hope to see her regularly in her university role.

Oh, I am sorry that Montrose will not have Clare as a midwife, but hope that she makes a difference to her student midwives. Best Wishes Clare :)
