Your views on our service – Montrose 2011

Customer satisfaction survey

The monthly customer satisfaction survey has continued to give the team valuable feedback during 2011. This survey has been sent to every woman who birthed within the unit and those who were transferred during labour. Once again the team are delighted to report a very high level of satisfaction with maternity care. We have managed to maintain a unit which promotes normal birth, offers women support to maintain feelings of control in labour and women report feeling safe and secure throughout.

For those women who have felt they would benefit from a debriefing we have offered that opportunity.

At present we are developing a poster which will display the 2011 results in more detail.

The team welcome feedback from our service users and are always looking at innovative ways to maintain and improve your experience so please get in touch at any time.

Question of the month

This year we developed a simple way of finding out what your views are on a wide range of topics. Each month we have a written question which you can fill in anonymously and post in a box while waiting for your clinic appointment. We have been delighted with the response which has allowed us to shape our service. You have let us know where you would prefer antenatal appointments to be, what you think of our website, what you would like included in our open evening, whether you have been made to feel welcome in the unit, whether you have had to wait too long for appointments among other things.

Again the team are so grateful to everyone who has given us feedback and we will continue to ask a question a month so look out for the post box and post your response.
