Montrose midwives have welcomed their 100th baby of 2008.
Emily arrived on 2nd July in the community maternity unit's birthing pool and is pictured here with mum Lesley and dad Alan. Her two and a half year old sister Caitlyn was also born in the unit. Lesley said, "We are delighted with the safe arrival of Emily and pleased to have had the 100th birth this year at Montrose."
In 2007 the midwives recorded 215 births, the highest number ever at the unit in Montrose Royal Infirmary and Emily's arrival confirms its continued popularity.
